An exciting, permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst has risen within Bupa. In this role, you will be directly responsible supporting the Bupa Health Services business unit, this role will see you work with a range of Bupa colleagues to identify and initiate pieces of work, review retail store and back office processes and systems; define requirements for system and process enhancements; and support delivery of operational efficiencies.
There is an immediate focus on our 2021 roadmap across Dental and Optical as well as discovery work to facilitate and plan for our 2022 activities across a range of exciting digital initiatives that range for pure-digital touchpoints to digital / real-world intersection. In addition to solid analysis services, you will provide support with planning, testing and change management support for Health Services digital change implementations.

Main Responsibilities include:
Lead / assist in the production of business cases, objectives, and scope across Health Services digital touchpoints.
Define opportunity benefits and clearly articulate problem statements
Document analysis approach estimate work packages for assignment analysis pieces
Liaise with Business Sponsor, Project Managers, Business Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to define, develop and document Business Requirements
Produce Functional Specifications that deliver agreed solutions to meet Business and IS needs and standards
Liaise with Business Unit representatives and IS functions to coordinate Quality Assurance of IS solutions in preparation for signoff by Business sponsor
Facilitate and support our agile development team in development and testing as required
Take the lead role in Project Defect prioritisation and triage
When required, represent IS at Business Unit team meetings
Support the maintenance and development BUPA Australia’s analysis and project delivery approach and methodologies
Other responsibilities as directed by the Assignment or Reporting Manager

Good understanding of varying IS methods for capturing and documenting requirements

High degree of credibility with natural ability to communicate and build trust to forge strong relationships with Customer & IS bases
Excellent written & oral communication skills with demonstrable ability in a variety of techniques to express technical information to non-technical readers / listeners
Ability to assess the impact of implementing change through IS solutions on other areas of Business
Demonstrated expertise with working on and supporting a broad program of digital work with short, medium, and long-term goals at scale
Strong Stakeholder management experience, particularly in liaising between Business & IS functions to initiate and implement the development, delivery, and support of solutions
Demonstrated expertise with data cleansing.
Demonstrated expertise in maintaining application backlogs, facilitating prioritisation meetings.
Demonstrated expertise in process mapping and the ability to produce easy to understand presentations.
Familiar with project and service delivery cycles & experience in adapting approaches and methodologies to achieve quality & timely solutions for the business
Familiar with IS operational support processes including service delivery in line with SLAs
Familiar with application integration and API interworking
